Another wee cheap deal meal. £14 for two mains and a bottle of wine. Been meaning to go for a good while but never got around to it.
Wanting some tempura we pushed the boat out and paid an extra £4.50 for mixed vegetable tempura (Yasai Tempura)
Crispy outside and fresh inside, gorgeous.
I ordered Seafood Cha Han, which is King prawn, squid, scallop, naruto, crabstick with fried rice (£8.50)
Huge portion. Good selection of seafood, however it was very stodgy and lacking in flavour. Could have done with maybe some ginger or spring onions?
King prawn tails in tempura batter. (£8.50) Again lovely tempura and rice, however together no taste and needed something to make it more exciting.
Overall good if you had the voucher and you were skint, but I don’t think we’d be rushing back.
