Passed by here as it was being kitted out and thought it looked promising, thankfully was tweeted a recommendation so another reason to go.
We both went for the lunch deal of Pannini, any drink and crisps for £5.50. Ham and Cheese pannini was average, I’ve had better – could have been served with a side salad, maybe some nice onion chutney or something, needed some zing. Earl grey tea came in the lovely little suki tea pots and looked delightful and tasted delicious too.
After drooling at the cakes in the window earlier we went for a mango meringue and a slice of carrot cake. The meringue was sublime, lightly flavoured, again delicious but maybe a little bit of fresh cream on the side? Very large meringue The carrot cake went down well, only gripe was that it was very very sweet.
Would definately go back, the cakes are marvellous and the tea full of flavour.
